Christmas Cards again!

Hi sorry its been a while since my last post. Things have been a little crazy around here. But that is no excuse.

I'm planning to have my Christmas Card class again instead of doing a Holiday decor class. I wasn't able to create something in time to teach a class. I do have a project in mind and will post that idea soon after I return from Kansas. We leave tomorrow morning and I'm ready to get out town!

This class will be on Dec. 4th from 1:oo p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Cost is $20 (this includes all supplies to make 6 cards, one small gift box, and a tea tin.)
Please bring adhesive.

Christmas Cards!!

Well I meant to get this post out last week and with all the fun activities for Halloween, time just got away from me.

I'm teaching Christmas cards on November 6th and 20th. Same cards for both classes. You will get to make a total of 6 cards and 2 gift projects.

Pumpkin Patch!

We had so much fun on Saturday at the pumpkin patch here in Parker, CO! We went through a corn maze and a long snake tunnel! Kyle loved the petting zoo the most. I think the little calf really liked kyle too.. After all the fun activities we picked out some pumpkins that I can't wait to carve! I have always liked to carve pumpkins and bake the pumpkin seeds.

I have been working on Christmas cards already! wow... that is early for me. I will be teaching Christmas cards on Saturday the 6th and the 20th of November. 1:00-4:00 p.m. Same cards for both classes. We will make 6 cards and 2 gift boxes. Cost is $20. I will post more of the cards we will make in class soon.

Fall Banner!

Okay so where is the fall weather! I'm ready for sweatshirts, soup, pumpkin spice lattes, hot tea and snuggling up on the couch. They say the cooler weather will be here sometime next week. Lets hope they are right. Jim made it back from his first hunting trip and brought back a lovely antelope. He had a lot of fun, so it looks like hunting could be a yearly thing for him. While he was gone I made a fall banner for our front door. I found the letter banner at a local craft store and the rest of the supplies are Stampin' Up.

Gone hunting!

Jim just left to go on his first hunting trip! He is very excited but will be gone for a few days! So that means I have a couple of evenings to get some things done and also do some Stamping/scrapbooking! I will be back to share what I have done on Sunday. But for now here are a few card ideas! The first card and treat bag are for my upcoming class on October 9th!

Where did September go? and October card class!

Wow! I can't believe September is almost over! I have been ready for fall and some chilly weather for a while now. Kyle is loving school and so am I. Its gives me a few days in the week to get stuff done. We have been really busy! I'm hoping we can slow down a bit come October but probably not. I had to cancel the birthday card class. Everyone in the family came down with colds/flu and I have had a sinus infection for the last week and half. I plan to reschedule that class so look for an update soon! Here are few photos of the kids and a 3 of the cards we will make at the next class!

Birthday Card Class

Flip Book Class!

I will be teaching this fun flip book album on Sept. 11, 2010 and on October 2, 2010. Both classes are on a Saturday from 1-4 pm. The is cost is $25 and will include all the papers, instructions, super tape, and embellishments. Please bring your adhesive, paper trimmer w/scoring blade, and scissors. If you don't have a paper trimmer I will have my two available. Call or send me an email if you would like to sign up!

I got the inspiration to make this book from my SU! demonstrator Debbie. She is awesome! Once you learn how to make the base of the flip book you can make one for any occasion! I think a Christmas book would make a great gift as well as one for a new baby! He are some photos of the book we will be making!

Back from VACATION!

Just got back from a much needed vacation to Hartland, WI! We had a wonderful time visiting family and we were also able to get away without the kids for a few days. (Thank you grandma & grandpa Mcgarry) Jim and I went up to Wisconsion Dells for a few days and enjoyed spending time alone. It is good to be home and I'm ready to get things back into a normal routine. Sorry had to share a few photos from our trip. Back tomorrow with some card ideas!
